What is responsible gaming and why does it matter

Responsible gaming means treating gaming as a healthy form of entertainment — one where you maintain full control over your time, money, and emotions. Bdroma believes every player has the right to enjoy games in a safe environment.

For many people, online gaming is a way to relax and have fun. But for some, it can become a habit that starts to affect other areas of life. That's exactly why Bdroma has established responsible gaming policies — so every user can enjoy gaming mindfully and safely.

Our responsible gaming program isn't just a formality — it's a core part of what Bdroma stands for. From the moment you register, we prioritize your well-being and safety in every session.

Core Principles: Gaming should be fun, not stressful. If it stops feeling enjoyable, take a break.

The Four Core Pillars of Responsible Gaming

  • Time Control: Always be mindful of how much time you're spending on gaming.
  • Budget Limit: Never bet more than you can afford to lose.
  • Emotional control: Don't rush back in to bet again after a loss.
  • Seeking Help: If a problem arises, get help quickly.

Bdroma's Safety Tools

Bdroma gives you powerful tools to stay in control of your gaming experience. You can easily activate them from your account settings.

1. Setting a Deposit Limit

You can set deposit limits on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Once a limit is set, it cannot be increased for 24 hours.

Example: if you set a weekly deposit limit of BDT 5,000, you won't be able to deposit more than that amount in a single week.

2. Loss Limit

Set a limit on how much BDT you can lose within a given period. Once you reach that limit, the system will automatically stop your betting.

3. Session Time Limit

Set how long you want to play in a single session. When the time is up, a pop-up will remind you to take a break. You can choose to log out or extend your session.

4. Reality Check

At set intervals (e.g., every 30 minutes or 1 hour), you'll receive a notification showing how long you've been playing and how much you've won or lost.

5. Self-Exclusion

If you feel gaming is becoming harmful, you can self-exclude from the platform for a set period — 7 days, 1 month, 6 months, or permanently. During this time, you won't be able to log in or make deposits.

Once self-exclusion is activated, it cannot be reversed before the specified period ends.

6. Cool-Off Period

You can take a short break lasting anywhere from 24 hours to 30 days. During this time your account will be temporarily suspended but not permanently closed.

How to tell if you need help

It's not always easy to tell when gaming is becoming a habit. Ask yourself the following questions:

1

Losing track of time?

Are you playing longer than you planned and finding it hard to stop?

2

Are you experiencing financial difficulties?

Are you spending money meant for bills, food, or family expenses on gaming?

3

Affecting your relationships?

Are your family or friends concerned about your gaming? Are you hiding it from them?

4

Trying to chase your losses?

After a loss, do you quickly place another bet convinced you'll win next time?

5

Finding it hard to focus on other things?

Are you losing interest in work, studies, or things you used to enjoy, and finding yourself thinking only about gaming?

6

Feeling stressed?

Do you feel restless, anxious, or irritable when you're not gaming?

If you answered 'Yes' to three or more of the questions above, seek professional help right away.

Frequently FAQ

Your responsible gaming questions answered

Log in and go to "Account Settings" > "Responsible Gaming". There you'll find the option to set deposit limits — daily, weekly, or monthly. Once a limit is set, it cannot be increased for 24 hours.

Self-exclusion means you voluntarily close your account for a set period of time. During this time, you will not be able to log in, deposit, or place bets. Exclusion can range from 7 days to permanent. Once activated, it cannot be reversed before the specified period ends.

Yes, absolutely. Your account dashboard includes a "Transaction History" and a "Betting History" section where you can view and download complete records. This can help you review your gaming patterns.

A Reality Check is an alert that reminds you at set intervals how long you've been playing and how much you've won or lost. It's a prompt to pause and consider whether it's time to take a break.

If you believe a family member is struggling with gaming addiction and needs help, contact the Bdroma Support Team. We can arrange a temporary or permanent closure of their account.

Yes. There are many organizations in Bangladesh and internationally that work on gaming addiction. You can reach out to Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare, and local mental health services. The Bdroma support team can also point you to the right resources.
